Shipping Policy — Trust Lane Delivery

This Shipping Policy explains how Trust Lane Delivery handles collection, transportation, delivery timeframes, and responsibilities for all shipments booked through our courier and logistics network across Australia and internationally.

By booking a shipment with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Service Coverage

We provide delivery and logistics services including:

  • Same-day metro delivery

  • Express and scheduled courier services

  • Interstate road freight

  • International air freight

  • Sea freight cargo

  • Warehousing and distribution

Service availability may vary depending on pickup and destination locations.

2. Booking & Collection

After a booking is confirmed:

  • Local pickups are typically scheduled within 30–90 minutes in metro areas

  • Regional pickups may require scheduled collection windows

  • Customers must ensure parcels are packaged and ready before driver arrival

  • The sender or representative must be present during pickup unless arranged otherwise

Failed collection due to unavailability may incur a re-attempt fee.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on distance, weather, traffic, customs processing, and operational conditions.

Local Metro Deliveries

  • Same-day delivery: within hours of pickup

  • Express priority: fastest available route

Interstate Deliveries

  • Express road freight: 1–3 business days

  • Economy freight: 2–6 business days

Air Freight

  • Domestic: next available flight

  • International: 2–7 business days (customs dependent)

Sea Freight

  • International cargo: 2–8 weeks depending on destination port

Delays caused by events beyond our control are not considered service failure.

Packaging Requirements

The sender is responsible for proper packaging.

Parcels must be:

  • Securely sealed

  • Labeled correctly

  • Protected against movement and impact

  • Suitable for transport conditions

We reserve the right to refuse unsafe or poorly packaged shipments.

Additional packing service may be available upon request.

Restricted & Prohibited Items

We do not transport illegal or dangerous goods, including but not limited to:

  • Hazardous materials

  • Explosives or flammable substances

  • Perishable goods without prior approval

  • Currency or negotiable financial instruments

  • Weapons and ammunition

  • Live animals (unless arranged through specialized service)

  • Items prohibited by Australian or international shipping regulations

Undeclared restricted items may result in shipment cancellation without refund.

Tracking & Delivery Confirmation

All shipments receive tracking updates when applicable.

Proof of delivery may include:

  • Signature confirmation

  • Photo confirmation

  • Digital delivery record

Authority to Leave (ATL) deliveries are left at the customer’s risk.

7. Customs & International Shipments

For international shipments:

  • The sender must provide accurate documentation

  • Duties, taxes, and import fees are the receiver’s responsibility unless prepaid

  • Customs inspections may delay delivery beyond estimated timeframes

We are not liable for customs clearance delays.

8. Failed Deliveries & Re-attempts

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Receiver unavailable

  • Access restrictions

The shipment may:

  • Be rescheduled (additional fee may apply)

  • Be returned to sender

  • Be stored temporarily in warehouse

Storage charges may apply after holding period.

Liability & Compensation

While we take great care in handling shipments, compensation is limited to:

  • Declared value coverage (if purchased), or

  • Standard carrier liability based on shipment type

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Business interruption

  • Delays beyond operational control

  • Insufficient packaging damage

Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
